Cusco is a major tourist hotspot, that has such a lot to offer. Most folks go to see the traditional sites like Sun City, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu. Although these are popular, you should not just stay a day to see these great ancient sites because there is so very much more - this town has in store for everyone that goes there. There's however a place called Pisac, about a mile outside of the town which was set up as a market for tourists and locals alike. You will not find big brand clothing there but you'll find the best handmade jewelry, rugs and purses that Cusco has to offer.
There are lots of places to eat in Cusco, so that shouldn't be a problem. Plenty of the places to eat are holiday maker friendly and will get you full. The town has also changed some - as to keep the holiday makers content. There are now some live bands that play at night at bars and even a few disco clubs that play more modern music.
